A Tiny Groomer

A tiny pet grooming boutique providing wide range of grooming services for cats and dogs. One dog or a cat at a time, without kennels or time spent waiting. Your pet will get all my attention with all the love and care they need during our appointment. My sole intention is to create the most comfortable experience for your pet. That is why I prioritize quality over looks.

Meet Clare – A tiny lady with a big heart filled with love for dogs and cats. A true pocket rocket in terms of wit and energy.

Clare has been a pet lover all her life and a pet owner for close to two decades.

Rescuing, fostering and eventually finding the kittens and puppies their forever homes with wonderful humans is where Clare’s passion lies outside of work. Speaking of work – before deciding to spend all her working and non-working hours around the beautiful fur balls, Clare used to work in the corporate world (gasp!).

She has worked with tech giant Hewlett Packard in various capacities but spent many years as a technical trainer. Being a trainer has helped master her client engagement, customer experience, the importance of professionalism and excellent time management skills on top of always willing to learn and share knowledge. Working in the corporate world, had its perks of stability, steady income, and other benefits. But it did not offer the happiness and satisfaction of doing what Clare loved to do – spend time with animals. She chose to start from scratch in a whole new world in the quest to offer her best to pets and help them live their best life.

The little push Clare needed to enter the grooming world was a friend’s encouraging words. “I have seen you with your pets for more than 10yrs now and I believe being with them is the happiest I have seen you. Your rescue kittens and puppies take to you naturally. You will do great as a pet groomer”. There has been no looking back for Clare after she started work as a pet groomer with Pawpad. She says “I fell in love with grooming. It was the perfect mix of spending my time with animals, showering them with love and a channel for my creativity. It also allows me to work independently which means no difficult colleagues, no meetings, no emails”

The trainer in Clare strongly believes, we all must constantly learn in order to be our best selves – both personally and professionally. The wonderful aspect of being a pet groomer is that every session is a learning experience. We as humans, have so much to learn from animals and what better way to learn than to spend quality time with them. Clare enjoys attending grooming seminars, trade shows and studying videos to keep herself updated and current.
